Broodmare boarding
Broodmares can be boarded at Shamrock Farm for a charge of $150 for pasture board, $225 per month for paddock board, or $300 per month for stall board with turn out. The charge is increased by $50 per month when they have a foal at their side. There is an additional $200 charge for foaling a mare out. Please contact Julianne at shamrock@metanetis.com or 864-377-1354 for more information.All broodmares have access to pasture or good quality hay. Strategy is fed to the mares once or twice a day. Fresh water and salt/minerals are always available. All broodmares are given Eastern and Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Influenza, and West Nile vaccines yearly and approximately one month before foaling. Rhino shots are given in the 5th, 7th, and 9th months of gestation. Broodmares are dewormed and trimmed bi-monthly.
